It was mid 2020 when indie-pop expert Eves Karydas shared the irresistibly catchy ‘Complicated’. The track went global, accumulating millions of streams, breaking through commercially (adds ATB at HIT, Nova and KISS), and scoring support from BBC Radio 1 and triple j where the hit landed at #22 in the iconic Hottest 100. Hailed as one of the year’s best pop anthems, the single launched a new era for the Cairns-born, Brisbane-based artist whose growth and talent as a songwriter continued to bloom in follow up singles ‘Get Me So High’ and ‘Freckles’.

Eves is now back with her latest single ‘Lemonade’. Written during a pre-Covid summer writing trip to London and Stockholm (the same trip that produced hits ‘Complicated’ and ‘Get Me So High’) with The 23rd (Sigrid, Hailee Steinfield) and Plested, (Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan, Anne Marie) the glistening new cut details the duality of feelings experienced at the end of a relationship, with Eves sounding powerful but playful, self-assured but still vulnerable.

Eves is also excited to share details of her forthcoming Reruns EP, out 24 September via Dew Process. Written in London, Stockholm and Eves’ native Brisbane over the past 18 months, the 6 track EP neatly establishes her as one of the country’s finest pop talents.
