Leeds artist Ntantu has just released his latest track “Tomorrow” that will feature on his next album “Now” set to release in September. Using his signature blending of rap and Rnb with the sounds from the African Diaspora, “Tomorrow” is an uplifting afro anthem that is about reflecting on the past and coming to the realisation of being in the present.
Ntantu came into 2022 off a big few years in his career. Years that saw him be a VIP guest representing UK Homegrown artists on the red carpet at the MOBO Awards, open for DJ Danny-T at a sold out Leeds’ O2 Academy and featured on events alongside the likes of Wretch 32, Becky Hill, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, Young T & Bugsey, Ms Banks, and many more.
In 2018 he showed his talent off and made a statement for the music scene with his self produced hit “Love and Leave You”. Which gave him the launch pad and build of momentum that would come with each release. With his release of “Pressure (Oh My Goodness)” hitting well over 400k streams in Spotify worldwide and went viral on TikTok hitting over 5 million views. All setting the stage for what is to come.
Fresh off being part of the Great Escape Festival this past May, we now look ahead to his next album “Now”. The album scheduled for a September release will feature Huddersfield rapper Prince Omari, Leicester native Shanesa and BBC Radio Leeds presenter Sanchez Payne. As well as, writing efforts from Grammy Award winning producer Glen Scott.

Featured on that album will be “Tomorrow”, a song that Ntantu wrote out of inspiration from his mother and the book “The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment” by Eckhart Tolle that he read during lockdown. The book, also the inspiration behind the album name, came at a time in lockdown when Ntantu was amidst a journey of reflecting and self-discovery.
At the end of the track Ntantu featured a special birthday message from his mother, which she says on how he is moving into another phase in life. A year later to the day of the message he got the greatest gift of his son being born adding extra meaning to the message and to the song for Ntantu.
