I purchased my Playstation 4 on launch day here in Australia on 29th November 2013 and couldn’t wait to get it home and discovered all its new features and fire up a game and let it blow me away with its performance.
So after parting ways with $500+ dollars, The little blue box and I took the final journey home, After tossing the manual aside and shredding the plastic to get to the good bits, the console was setup and ready to go in a few minutes, breathe in… pray its not Dead on Arrival and hit the power button…Good…it works…
So now we start the checklist…
Does it look good on my Entertainment unit? yep
Quiet? can’t hear it compared to my old “jet edition” PS3
Nice new intro screen? Fancy…
The audio is pure digital pedigree? It’s cranked to 11.
Throw on FIFA 14… runs so smooth…How did we ever put up with such inferior technology in the PS3? You techno-snob you…
OK, ive had enough of FIFA 14 for one day, time for a beer and a movie…. lets just go to the DLN…….hey!!! what gives?!?!
And between that day and today February 5th 2014.. I’ve still been waiting…waiting for that little “Update available” popup on the console
Searching google for rumours on when ill be getting my beloved DLNA
You took play TV away from me sony, surely you can’t take this away from me too?
But hey…At least its not an XBOX one…
But seriously Sony… get it together and get me some DLNA. I have alot of content I would like to watch…
