The Football Federation of Australia and Sony Music have recently announced that Australian musical artist Samantha Jade has created and recorded a song that will be known as the ‘Official Theme of the Australian Socceroos’. Called “Up”, Samantha Jade wrote the song in Sydney earlier in the year and takes inspiration from the Australian National teams and the inspiration they give in their quest to take on the biggest title in The World Game.
Samantha Jade will perform the tune live at the final friendly match as the Socceroos take on South Africa at ANZ Stadium on 26 May, 2014.
