Hmm, okay so I may have been expecting more. But still, with an average of a third/quarter cut from your local currency it may atleast prompt you to get one to see what the fuss is all about.
I’m definitely not trying to say the Apple TV has been overlooked, in fact the improvements have been more vigorous in the last update by including a horde of 3rd party apps making the black Apple box an unquestionable improvement in the family common room.
I use it frequently to AirPlay music from my iTunes server and to watch the WWE Network. It’s nifty and sometimes the Screen Sharing with my MacBook Pro can be a saviour.
The new retail value goes ahead the heels of the announcement that HBO Now will be featured (without a cable subscription) to Apple equipment, including the iPhone, iPad and the now cheaper Apple TV.
