Giannis Antetokounmpo, the 6-11 forward, known as the “Greek Freak’’ possess amazing athleticism and outstanding talent. Drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 15th overall pick in the NBA Draft in 2013, Giannis has already had some big moments throughout his young NBA career, such as being named in the 2013-14 NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

Ever since then, he has continued to develop and improve as he continues to add significant skills to his growing arsenal as he is quickly becoming the NBA’s next superstar. Showing that if you need someone to step up in the last seconds of a game, Giannis showed you can count on him as he landed the buzzer beater winning shot in the last seconds at Madison Square Garden, getting the Milwauke Bucks a 105-104 victory over the NY Knicks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo only just turned 22 turned last month, is now on his way to an historic season. He has the chance to lead his Bucks to the playoffs and even lead the team in five different categories – scoring, field-goal percentage, rebounding, assists and blocked shots. That has only ever been done four times in NBA history, by some of the game’s all-time greats: Dave Cowens, Scottie Pippen, Kevin Garnett and LeBron James. His contract extension for four more seasons with the Bucks is already being proved as a benefit for the Bucks, as Giannis will only continue to get better and consistently provess every game why he is a player that the Bucks can build their franchise around.

Giannis isn’t the only talented basketball player in the Antetokounmpo family. His older brother Thanasis was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 2014 NBA draft. Thanasis himself is a very talented and very skilled player, that given the opportunity, he will thrive and is a great asset to any team that he is on.

Having already been compared to Magic Johnson and LeBron James, those comparisons will only grow after landing his 18-foot game winning fade-away. Milwaukee’s coach, Jason Kidd, who himself is a Hall of Fame point guard, has been saying all along that Giannis can end up among the all-time greats of the NBA. As Giannis continues to grow as a player, not only will the Bucks get the benefits when it comes to games won, but the NBA will also benefit as Giannis Antetokounmpo will become the NBA’s next big star.
