Born and raised in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Justin Murray is a versatile and highly effective defensive player for the Olentangy Orange High School football team. At six feet two inches and 215 pounds, Justin can play in both the Defensive End and Linebacker positions. With the quality he delivers in both positions, he holds high aspirations and the dedication to achieve his dreams to take his talents to the professional level.

Justin began to play football due to wanting to get in shape and stay fit. It would be in just his second year of football that he realised he was improving and growing as an athlete. Over time he would become a leader within the team, gaining more knowledge about the game and letting his actions speak for themselves. He quickly became a player that everyone enjoyed playing with.

Justin did everything to ensure that off the field his grades weren’t impacted. Keeping his grades up and giving it just as much attention as he gave football.

During his freshman year he earned the opportunity to suit up and play varsity football. Following that season he and his family moved, meaning he had to transfer from Reynoldsburg to Olentangy Orange High School.

It’s been at OOHS where Justin received even more opportunities to prove himself and he’s taken the opportunities given with both hands.

Continuing to put the work in and giving nothing but his best every time, he develops and learns every week from his coaches and teammates. Every week showing his potential both at training and in game alongside the likes of Isaac Campbell and Rico Franklin. Both of whom have taught him so much and helped get him ready to earn his start this year for the Olentangy Orange football team.

Justin credits the Olentangy Orange football system for the fast and continuous improvement of his game. Working on everything from his techniques and going out and feeling more comfortable in being able to read the guard and get in a better defensive line stance.

This year not only has Justin Murray earned himself a starting position but has since received an official invite to take part in the NUC All American Game this December at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Georgia.

Justin Murray has a great future ahead of him. An athlete that has the work ethic, talent and dedication to succeed. One that won’t let anyone down on the field and does whatever it takes. Definitely one to watch as his career progresses.
