Original Wiggles return to fundraise Australian bushfire rescue causes
The OG lineup of the famous childrens’ melodic band The Wiggles are rejoining to fundraise for the Australian Red Cross and Wires Wildlife Rescue.
The January 18 show at Castle Hill RSL in New South Wales is a charitable reaction to the out of control bushfire emergency Australia has been encountering since October.
Jeff Fatt, Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page have previously made comebacks for beneficent causes, and in 2016 they played three dates to commend their 25th anniversary.
Founding Wiggle Anthony Field revealed to local Sydney 2GB radio that the pledge drive would in all likelihood simply be the beginning of The Wiggles’ endeavors to help the bushfire rescue cause. Field additionally disclosed to Sydney 2GB that 66-year-old previous purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt has changed the verses to The Wiggles adaptation of Number Rhumba. The melody for this live version will incorporate the line, “Number five, number five, I can’t believe Jeff is still alive”.
The occasion will be for grown-ups, no kids at this event, and Field shared that, “People can drink whatever they like and sing along.”
