[image src=’https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5595/14146983009_620b39379f_z.jpg’ width=’300′ height=’150′ title=’A Salute to Our Troops’ align=’left’] Playstation recently set out to Fort Riley, Kansas for a special “Salute to the Troops” event where they brought literally a truckload of games and music artists to perform for in front of a live military crowd. Soldiers make up a large proportion of the gaming community and often use gaming consoles to take their minds off military day to day tasks and help bond with their fellow soldiers.
Joining Playstation was the country music artist ‘Brett Eldredge’ who sang in front of the troops together with their friends and family despite the heavy rainfall outside.
As thanks to Brett making his way out there to help make the event even better Playstation gave him a new Playstation 4 console to put aboard his band’s bus. Brett Eldredge praised the Playstation team and the console saying:

The event was free and open to the public so everyone had a chance to stop by and try out some new games, listen to some great music as well as meet some of the brave men and women who protect the United States of America each and every day.
