Comment from the company came by the means of TNA executive John Gaburick who also used Twitter to address Samoa Joe’s exit from the Florida based promotion. Gaburick posted the following, revealing the simple reason of Joe’s contract with the company had expired:
On expiration of @SamoaJoe contract, TNA and Joe have agreed to part ways. Joe will always be a member of our family & we wish him the best.

Nothing has yet emerged where his next move will bring him, however TNA do not issue non-compete so anything is possible in the short term.
