Monnie is an artist from Melbourne (Naarm Country) who’s just launched her solo project with her single ‘Tell Me Something’. She’s also released her cathartic EP, ‘Lately’ which has a bubbly infectiousness and undeniable warmth hinting that it’s just the beginning for the Brisbane-born talent.
Monnie’s played bass for Thelma Plum and been in indie rock band Sweater Curse.
The song namesake for the album ‘Lately’ is a celebration of liking lots of eclectic things and how liking all of these things might not always make sense to some people, but that shouldn’t dictate what we do or don’t enjoy.
