Better in Blak Anniversary Edition coming October
Gamilaraay singer songwriter Thelma Plum has had a good year in the music industry. She recently celebrated the first anniversary of her highly rated debut album ‘Better In Blak’ with the release of a special edition vinyl of the album. The new anniversary edition vinyl features the colours of the First Nations/Indigenous Flag.
In January 2020, Plum became the highest ranking Indigenous artist ever in the Triple J Hottest 100, when “Better in Blak” charted at number 9. Two months later, she was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This week marks a year since Better In Blak was released. Thank you for how you’ve shared and felt this record”.
