Blusher is a three-piece Australian pop outfit that was formed in 2021 in Melbourne. They write and produce all of their music and share vocals on many of their songs. They have released two singles so far: “Softly Spoken” in 2022 and “Dead End” in 2023, the latter being their first with Atlantic Records. They have also performed at the Bigsound conference in Brisbane.
Blusher has not explicitly stated their influences in any of the search results, but based on their genre and style, you can infer that they might be inspired by Charli XCX and The 1975.
The band makes energetic, dance provoking pop music that reminds them of nights out with their friends, which is also a Charli XCX-like style. They also use synths and distorted guitars in their production as well as guitar hooks and catchy choruses. Blusher has a similar aesthetic to The 1975, with neon lights and pastel colors in their visuals.
