Having played baseball for 11 years of his life, including Division 1 baseball in college for Seton Hall University and Montclair State University. If Anthony Bowens wasn’t a star in professional wrestling and beating competitors with the Bowens Boom, there is no doubt he would be hitting home runs for the San Francisco Giants just like his baseball idol Barry Bonds.

Anthony started training to become a Pro Wrestler at the Create-A-Pro Wrestling Academy in Rahway, New Jersey. Learning from head trainer Pat Buck and as well as getting training from Dan Maff, Mario Bokara and current WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins.

As of this month, Anthony Bowens has been a professional wrestler for four years. In that time, Anthony has performed in over 25 different companies such as WWE, WrestlePro, Beyond and companies all over the east coast as well as working internationally in Canada and England.

Throughout his career, Anthony has had a lot of great and memorable matches. One match that stands out above the rest is on BattleClub Pro’s debut show where Anthony Bowens competed in the main event against newly signed WWE Superstar “The Premire Athlete” Tony Nese. You can watch the killer main event match below:

Bowens won his first title on April 12, 2014 at IWF 17th Annual LOUD n’ PROUD Spring Spectacualr where he defeated Marc Corino for the IWF Junior Heavyweight Championship. He would go on to win his second title earlier this year on April 30, 2016 at WrestlePro 4, defeating Matt Macintosh for the WrestlePro Championship.

Outside of wrestling, Anthony is a signed fitness model and a upstart actor. He recently has appeared in his very first commercial for Optimum, which you can checkout below.

I highly recommend that you follow Anthony Bowens throughout his career and be sure to attend any show that he appears at in your area. You won’t be disappointed if you see him live, as Anthony is a guy who always gives the fans their money’s worth and always gives 100% in his matches as well as everything that he does outside of wrestling.

Having been able to communicate with and get to know Anthony Bowens over the past couple of years. He is definitely a man that I have nothing but respect and admiration for. Anthony is a quality human being and has always been a guy that I have looked up to. I wish him nothing but success and know that one day we will see Anthony Bowens dominating the wrestling business.
