After last years sell-out success, Silvie Paladino, an Australian singer with roots in inner-Melbourne music, is back with the much praised Melbourne Opera Orchestra conducted by Raymond Lawrence.

This year will be a special COVID safe performance with social distancing observed in the theatre.

The Queen of Carols will present a concert full of Christmas festive cheer and joy, hear all your favourites and sing-along with us as Maestro Raymond Lawrence brings in the festive season.

She began singing at the age of nine, and from an early age won several major singing competitions, including the Italian Song Festival and the grand final of Channel Ten’s Young Talent Time.

Her remarkable vocal range enables her to sing a vast repertoire including jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and light opera.

Silvie has toured nationally with her own show, sung with symphony orchestras around Australia, featured at major sporting events, including the AFL Grand final and performed for celebrated theatre composers Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Schwartz.

She is well known to Australian audiences through her regular appearances on Carols by Candlelight.
