In this episode, Joe and Rob take a departure from our normal show to reflect back on the 2010’s as we get set to enter a new decade of football. We start out with discussing the two dominant players of the decade, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. We discuss what they’ve meant to football this decade, their accomplishments, and what the future holds for them. We also ask our listeners, “where do you see Messi and Ronaldo in their post-football careers?” (3:30). We then present you with our All Decade Team (25:50). From there, we give you our most memorable moments of the decade, including Aguero’s goal to win Man City’s title, Brazil’s 7-1 humiliation in the 2014 World CupLeicester City, and Spain’s club and country dominance in the decade (47:40). We also name our Player of the Decade (1:00:15). We are off for the Christmas holiday, and will return on January 6th.
