Anyone who saw a film from Keanu Reeves understands that he would create an outstanding Marvel hero, but the star chose not to enter the MCU in spite of many deals.
Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, confessed that he has for years tried to place the John Wick actor.
“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige said, laughing.
“I don’t know when or if he’ll ever join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
This follows rumors that Reeves had been in discussions in the upcoming Marvel movie, The Eternals, with Angelina Jolie, previously this month on the Internet.
Interestingly, Reeves has continually refused to enter the MCU-one of the world’s most popular movie franchises-but took on the likes of Toy Story.
In the fourth instalment of the loved series, he speaks daredevil stunt motorcyclist Duke Caboom.
In his hit New romantic comedy Always Be My Maybe, he also played a cameo role lately.
But, of course, supporters would be most familiar with him from the hit francophone Matrix and the John Wick series, the global box office with its third and last installment of 276 million US$.
Reeves said that he just got motivated by telling people why he chose Toy Story 4.
“The character’s so full of life. He’s a showman, he’s a daredevil. So when he’s on the bike, I was just — like, he keeps doing poses, you know, and he can’t stop. They put it into the film, so it was nice.”
