When Billy Corgan bought the NWA in 2017 he told Sports Illustrated, “We want to be part of a new revolution of how wrestling can be consumed by fans and matches can be presented”. We all know the story of the “10 Pounds of Gold” series and where Cody Rhodes has been but strangely absent was mention of any other NWA title, including the Women’s Championship.
