Rapper turned presidential candidate Kanye West has conceded his campain to become leader of a world super power. With 57,000 votes in 12 states, the results are less than ideal for the popular music artist. But it isn’t over completely, he made hints at another run in four years.

On Tuesday morning, West announced he was casting his vote for himself on election day.

“God is so good.

Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust

…me”

He filled out his ballot at a polling place around Park County in Wyoming where he is known to own a ranch.

He didn’t quite meet the deadlines to get on ballots in all 50 American states, so instead, West encouraged his fans to write him onto the ballot. Critics originally criticised him in this move for taking away what could be extremely needed votes from the Republican and Democrat candidates.

His campaign launched on 4 July 2020 and lasted almost exactly four months.
