The last game in the series under the partnership with EA Sports and FIFA, FIFA 23 will feature World Cup and Women’s World Cup modes available post-launch. It will also keep modes such as Ultimate Team and Career, and licenses to the major European leagues and players, clubs, and stadiums.
This latest instalment will feature the women’s domestic leagues to be playable for very first time in the franchise history and the England’s National League is now the only non-league in the English football league pyramid to be playable in FIFA 23.
However women’s domestic leagues are still based in Europe and United States, such as the FA Women’s Super League in England, Frauen-Bundesliga in Germany, Division 1 Féminine in France and the National Women’s Soccer League in the U.S.
As for the cover of the final edition? Kylian Mbappé (for Standard Edition), Sam Kerr (for Australia and New Zealand Standard Edition), and both Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr (Ultimate Edition).
Cross-play between Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Stadia players, as well as Xbox One and PS4 players, will be supported at launch. It is slated to be released on 30 September 2022.
