The former WWF/E Champion won the campaign for Knox County officer of Mayor in Tennessee, defeating opponent Linda Haney with 67% to 33%.
He started his campaign through hellfire, brimstone and smiling photo opportunites in March 2017 as a member of the Republican party.
He was last seen on WWE TV in July when he reunited with former tag partner Daniel Bryan to take on Bludgeon Brothers at the Extreme Rules.
