Keith Flint, the British rebel who sang the vocals for The Prodigy’s hits such as Firestarter, has been found dead aged 49.

Flint was the main image of 90’s British electromusic, known for random dance moves often with outrageous hair cuts.

Police attended an address in Essex a little after 8am on Monday (local GMT).

He was found dead at his home in Dunmow, about 60 kilometres north-east of the English capital.

“We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene,”
– a police press member said.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

He recently returned to the UK after a tour of Australia.
