This massive world promises an epic journey with endless possibilities and devastating action waiting around every corner of the map.
Currently under development by CD Projekt RED is an open world RPG that lets players slay all types of dangerous beasts and travel the land in search of quests and glory.
It is scheduled to be released for: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and released worldwide on May 19, 2015. The game is still not officially confirmed for Linux or Mac OS, however it may be possible that the game will be released on these platforms at a later time.
You don’t need to play the previous Witcher games to thoroughly enjoy this one, The developers have stated that anyone can dive right in and still have a great experience without knowing much of the back story.

- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also introduces some new mechanics, such as witcher-sense, combat on horseback, and at sea, swimming underwater, and using a crossbow. Additionally, Geralt can now jump, climb, and vault over smaller obstacles.
- The climbing mechanics have been described as “not exactly” like Assassin’s Creed, but more “similar to what we have in Uncharted.” There are 10 witcher signs, 5 original ones, each having an alternative form along with the original ones.
- For traveling around the extensive world, players can use horses and boats. Geralt can even use bombs and witcher signs when riding horses.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt completely revamps the combat system to make it more responsive, fluid, and fun for the players. The world is immensely expanded, making it bigger, more detailed, and more meaningful. With much more things to do and side quests to complete. And of course – we worked hard to nail the main quests, making them interesting, and as influential as possible. Your decisions will leave their mark on the world and on the people. When you have a decision to make it will change the entire game and set you down a different path to complete the game.
