Fly with the Cult of the Wind

Cult of the Wind is a game about people who pretend to be air planes. Yes, that is the main plot point of the game which takes place in an unknown time and location in the world. The focus is of a cult that worships the fallen wreckages of ancient (1900’s to now) airplanes. They gather to recreate the classical dogfights. It appears the characters in this game are the remnants of the human race (or something we have become), their world in a permanent pause in time of a a lush and golden age past.
In Cult of the Wind, players compete and work together in an almost ritualistic like multi-player plane dogfights, complete with vivid imaginary weapons, pretend yet damaging (also pretend) explosions, and air plane noises made with the mouths of the players… did we mention this is all pretend? Inundate your friends in a frenzy of imaginary bullets and debate about whether or not your air planes have shields or if they can even have shields, meanwhile some other player kamikazes into your head.
This game could exists, and the more I explore it… I honestly want it to succeed.
With an clever point-and-click level editor you’ll be able to bring to life new levels or modify any of the existing ones. In the era of social networking you also can immediately share the levels with anyone on a server, even if you aren’t it’s host. You can also visualise and bring to life a personalized appearance for your character with numerous articles of clothing and animations… plane animations.

Along with that creative level editor you will also get a range of options for character customization, dozens of imaginary weapons and abilities, infinitely expandable content (literally limited by imagination) and crazy high-speed mock combat which you will be able to instantly share online along with your creations.
